A Deliciously Do-Nothing Day

That's what today was, a deserved brake from the back-breaking work of the past week.
We've ok'd it with the neighbours to work on a holiday (tomorrow), so we'll head over there in the morning, finish the underlay and get cracking on the wallpapering/painting.

In With The New, Part 1

Put down about half of the underlay for the floorboards, they insulate, and isolate noise. So basically we could be tap dancing at two in the morning, (we won't), and the downstairs neighbours wouldn't hear a thing.
Not doing anything tomorrow, for a change, taking a well deserved brake from renovating and decorating. Back on Monday! Should be able to post some pictures of the lush new floorboard then.

Out With The Old

We ripped out the old flooring, which even had carpet underneath, ugh! Tomorrow the underlay plates go in, and by Monday we should be able to put down the new floor boards, yippee!

The Move

So, here some pictures of the teeny tiny attic, I'll post some more when we're not running around like headless chickens!
Will spent the weekend ripping up the ukky flooring, and putting in the new.
My dad and his wife spent the whole day yesterday scraping off the old wallpaper, hours and hours of work, thank you so much!

We love love love this tiny house, and have been meaning to give a shout out about it for ages already. So here it goes.

This little place was already featured a while back by the likes of desiretoinspire.net (we love). But with something this beautiful, wonderful, charming, and well, mini, it can't be talked about enough!

We sold our living room furniture! Yippee! Onwards and upwards!

Tick Tock to Moving-Day!

Packing and sorting, and hopefully selling.
I want to give so much away, need to see if a local charity shop will take the stuff.

Very Pinteresting

We spent the last two days packing, and still throwing things away/donating/selling.
Had a thought today, why not sell the TV, Xbox, Wii, and really simplify things. That's what we'll be doing this week.

We are about to move into a teeny tiny attic apartment, 28 metres square, and we can't wait!
So while we count down the days to the move, we'll blog some pointers that we hope to use, to help make the most of the little space we'll have.

Dish Rack, and Espresso...

...just because!

We want to build something like this over our sink. The idea is you wash, let it dry, (while you go make yourself an espresso) and just leave it on there. No drying, stacking, tidying. Yes, OK!
