Mirror Mirror in the Hall

How to get 'double' the space? Mirror-doors on Wardrobes, for example. We got ourselves a 3 meter long Pax Wardrobe in Ikea in expectation of the move, it's gonna go in the Entrance/Hallway in our tiny attic. It leaves us with a 60cm passage, not much, but the mirrored doors will hopefully help to make it feel less claustrophobic. Not going for an 80s look, just illusion of more space.
Booked the van for the move, it's all happening now!

Sliding Doors

We will get a sliding door for the bathroom, as there isn't enough space in the hallway to open a 'normal' door.
Something like this maybe? Or maybe a giant photo print? We were thinking of getting a hanging door, but the beams might be in the way. We'll see...

Get Rid Of It!!

Here some not so exciting pictures, but we want to document it anyways, because it's an important part of simplifying; getting rid of STUFF!! Here only some of the things that are going today, bedroom furniture, clothes, etc. Feels great to see it go!

We absolutely LOVE Pinterest! Nothing quite like it to get inspiration, and seriously lose track of time!
34 days to go to our move! Tomorrow the sofa and bedroom furniture goes, we need to seriously get rid of a LOT of things. Friend of ours who's getting married is taking them off our hands. Everyone's happy!

Colour Combo

Our tiny attic has beautiful, dark, wooden beams. We are thinking of sticking to white for the walls; not 'French White', not 'Antique White', but WHITE White. We may change as we go along, but that's our canvas for now.

Love at First Sight

Old Camper Vans. Don't you just love 'em!
Well, we do. So much so that we dream about one day owning one, gutting it, renovating it, and travelling around in it. And, if social convention did not frown upon it so much, we would probably even live in it!
So....what's the next best thing, for the time being?
The moment I saw the pictures online, I got in contact with the owner. A teeny tiny little studio attic space, right beside the beautiful Main river, with views over said. We arranged to see it, and fell in love. You look at the space and the creative juices really get going, the place was oozing with charm and potential.
Long story short, we are moving in, end of March!
As soon as we're in, we'll post some photos of the empty space, and I'll track our progress as we do the place up. We've got lots of plans!
Pretty much everyone thinks we are crazy, two people living in 28 metres squared!
